Onkko began after a prolific morel season in Southern Oregon revealed a frustrating problem: there was no reliable way to transport mushrooms out of the woods without damaging them.
Buckets and traditional backpacks crushed delicate harvests, while smaller totes lacked the capacity needed for long days of foraging.
After years of prototyping, field testing, and collaboration with experienced foragers, we built the pack we wished we’d had.
